APOCALYPTICA - New Album Track Listing Revealed
|
|
Finnish cello-rockers APOCALYPTICA have set a January 24 European release
date through Universal for their new self-titled album. The complete track
listing for the effort is as follows:
01. Life Burns
02. Quutamo
03. Distraction
04. Bittersweet
05. Misconstruction
06. Fisheye
07. Farewell
08. Fatal Error
09. Betrayal/Forgiveness
10. Ruska
11. Deathzone
A limited-edition version of the CD will contain three bonus tracks as well
as the video for "Bittersweet" and "making of" footage.
As previously reported, APOCALYPTICA travelled to Tallinn, Estonia last
November to shoot the second video off the new CD, "Life Burns". The track
features lead vocals and lyrics by THE RASMUS singer Lauri Ylönen, who
also appears in the clip.
SLAYER drummer Dave Lombardo will be guesting on "Apocalyptica" on a song
called "Betrayal/Forgiveness". The track, which is described by APOCALYPTICA's
Perttu Kivilaakso as a "really fast, thrash metal-influenced song," will
mark the second time Lombardo has played on an APOCALYPTICA CD, having previously
performed on 2003's "Reflections".
Lombardo recorded the drum tracks for "Betrayal/Forgiveness" at Finnvox
studios in Helsinki when SLAYER's "Unholy Alliance" tour hit Finland in
October.
APOCALYPTICA will support German industrial metallers RAMMSTEIN on a European
tour in February. The group's first-ever North American tour will kick off
March 15 in New York City. A complete listing of the currently confirmed
tour dates can be found at this location.
