METALLICA - Houston Bar Owner Sets Record Straight Regarding LARS ULRICH 'Pissing' Incident |

The owner of the Houston bar where a drunken man tied unsuccessfully to
approach METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich while allegedly exposing himself
(photo) in a failed attempt to "urinate" on Ulrich (see previous BLABBERMOUTH.NET
story) has posted a message on the BLABBERMOUTH.NET comment board offering
her version of events on the night in question.

Michaelynn (MySpace.com profile) of the Jet Lounge in Houston wrote, "I wanted to say that I am the owner of the Jet Lounge in Houston, where yes, Lars and his girlfriend Connie were welcome at my establishment. A friend of mine called to tell me they were on their way to my place, and if I would reserve a seat. That was not needed. Lars and his guest came in, and were welcomed by most with open arms. They did not ask for special treatment and sat at the bar with all of my customers and friends. As usual, someone took everything out of context...and ran with it. Yet, funny to some, it wasn't funny to all involved. Some see the humorous side of the article...and of course...others did not. I've felt the heat from both sides. So as the owner of the bar and a friend of the urinator in question....no harm was done...and nothing of the sort...actually happened in my bar!... As I said, Lars and party were very cool...and I was honored to have them there. Secondly, Mr. Bill Fool. my friend, was also very cool...and I was honored to have him as well. This is all bs created by 'whomever' and for 'whatever' reasons felt neccessary. I hope that everyone feels that they are welcome in my bar....as long as that don't 'piss' me off... which no one on this particular evening did... Thanks!!"
