OZZFEST 2006 - Tour Routing Revealed |

Sources close to the Ozzfest organization have told MTV.com that there had
been discussions with both the KORN and METALLICA camps for the headlining
slot at this year's festival, but that those talks were informal and never
got passed the initial negotiations. A SEPULTURA reunion, featuring original
frontman Max Cavalera, was also in the works, but the trigger was never
pulled. TOOL and MARILYN MANSON were also considered.
Although it has not yet been confirmed, it is believed that the last remaining main-stage band to be officially announced is AVENGED SEVENFOLD.
