FIREBALL MINISTRY - Record JOE WALSH Cover For 'Sucking the '70s II' Compilation
|
|
Acclaimed Los Angeles hard rock quartet FIREBALL MINISTRY have finished
recording a cover of the song "Turn to Stone" from JOE WALSH's "Barnstorm"
album for the upcoming "Sucking the '70s II" compilation, to be released
later this year by Detroit's Smallstone Records. The recording sessions
took place at Optimum Sound in Los Angeles with "a very talented fellow
named Yury Anisonyan," according to a posting on the band's web site.
FIREBALL MINISTRY's latest album, "Their Rock Is Not Our Rock", was released
last year on Liquor and Poker Music. It is the group's first CD with new
bassist Johnny Chow (ex-SYSTEMATIC, MY RUIN). The band's video for the song
"Sundown" is currently receiving airplay on MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball".
FIREBALL MINISTRY performed the song live on NBC's "Last Call With Carson
Daly" on Dec. 16, 2005.
