MINISTRY - JOURGENSEN To Teach History At University?
|
|
MINISTRY frontman Al Jourgensen has told Release magazine that he has his
life exactly planned out now that he's quit using heroin. "I was a heroin
addict for 20 years and was asleep for like nine," he said. "Now I know
exactly what I want to do: Two more MINISTRY albums, one more LARD album
and one more REVOLTING COCKS album. Then I'm going to pick up my career
as a teacher again. I have a master's degree in history, so I am going to
teach at a university, maybe the University of Texas as a professor."

MINISTRY's new album, "Houses of the Mole", was released this week through
Sanctuary Records. Jourgensen worked on "Houses" with guitarist Mike Scaccia
(RIGOR MORTIS), guitarist Brian Kehoe (M.I.R.V., JERRY CANTRELL, THE LES
CLAYPOOL FROG BRIGADE), bassist John Monte (replacing longtime member Paul
Barker, who quit in January), keyboardist Darryl James and ex-FEAR drummer
Mark Baker. The musicians are currently in the studio  with ex-SKATENIGS
singer Phil Owen and Frankie Nardiello from MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL
KULT  working on a new album by REVOLTING COCKS, tentatively due later
in the year.
