KITTIE - MORGAN Turned Away At Border; WINDY CITY INVITATIONAL Appearance
'Unlikely'
|
|
Canadian metal band KITTIE have posted the following update on their official
web site:
Dave
and Morgan Lander were turned back at the U.S.-Canadian border just a few
moments ago. This makes the appearance at Chicago's Windy City Invitational
extremely unlikely to occur at this point. The
problem that necessitated the turn around should be resolvable before the
Detroit show on the 15th. The band expresses its deepest apologies and we
will keep you posted with more information and details as we are made aware
of them."
KITTIE played their debut gig with their new lineup — featuring new guitarist
Tara McLeod, formerly with Strathroy, Ontario area band SHERRY, and bassist
Trish Doan, who played with London, Ontario rockers HER — on Thursday
(Sept. 29) at Call the Office in London, Ontario. The band will soon release
a downloadable EP — "a new taster," the band said — to introduce new
material.
