on the METALLICA "superfan" William James Thompson III (photo) who was wanted
by The Canyon County Court after ditching his probation duties for robbery
and aiding and abetting:

"Last week, our article 'Headbanging Fugitive Alert' generated plenty of online traffic, as well as some heated debate on the heavy metal messageboard www.blabbermouth.net. Many felt that rather than publicize William James Thompson III's at-large status, or analyze the significance of his 'Metallica Kill 'Em All' tattoo, we and other heavy metal fans should band together to help hide Thompson III from the authorities.
