KISS - Bassist GENE SIMMONS Turns Down Guest Star Role In CBS' 'Yes, Dear' |

KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons has posted the following message on his
web site:
CBS' long running 'Yes, Dear' offered me the guest star role in their series-ending episode. Although the concept seems like a lot of fun, we could not come to terms, so I passed. Check out the show anyway." As previously reported, a New York state judge is allowing a former girlfriend of Simmons to continue suing him for making her appear sex-crazed, according to the Associated Press. Justice Rosalyn Richter has denied Simmons' motion to dismiss two of three claims by Georgeann Walsh Ward. She's suing Simmons over the VH1 rockumentary "When Kiss Ruled the World". Her suit said although her name is never mentioned, her photo was shown during Simmons' comments about his sexual adventures and that made it seem like she was "wild," "unchaste" and a "sex-addicted nymphomaniac." She said her photo was shown 11 times. She admitted that she had a romantic relationship with Simmons. The judge dismissed her claim that her likeness was used for commercial purposes without her permission. | ||
